Manage reservations from the property

From the panel of each short-term rental property you can create, edit and delete reservations directly. This panel is available in the Reservations tab within the property record.

Requirements

Create a new reservation

1. Go to the record of a short-term rental property
2. Click the Reservations tab in the side panel
3. Press the New Reservation button (green, top right corner)
4. In the dialog that opens, fill in:
   • Contact: Select or create an existing contact
   • Check-in date: Select the start date
   • Check-out date: Select the end date
5. Press Save to confirm the reservation

The new reservation will appear in the panel's list and also in the global Reservations console.

Edit a reservation

1. In the reservations list, find the reservation you want to modify
2. Click the pencil icon (edit) to the right of the reservation
3. Modify the necessary data (contact, dates)
4. Press Save to apply the changes

Delete a reservation

1. Click the trash icon (delete) to the right of the reservation
2. An inline confirmation will appear: Delete?
3. Press the check to confirm or the X to cancel
4. If you confirm, the reservation is deleted permanently

Filters and sorting

The panel includes filters to organize reservations:

You can also sort reservations with the sorting arrows:

• Down arrow: Most recent first (default order)
• Up arrow: Oldest first

Information for each reservation

Each reservation in the list shows:

• Date range: Check-in date and check-out date in readable format
• Contact: Name of the associated contact (or "No contact" if it has none)
• Nights: Badge with the number of nights of the stay
• Visual status: Past (historical) reservations appear with reduced opacity to distinguish them from active ones

Integration with websites

Short-term rental reservations sync with your Mapaprop Website. Visitors to your site can see the property's availability on the reservations calendar.
