Edit Real Estate Development

Overview

This page lets you modify the data of an existing Real Estate Development (Building / Project). The form is similar to the one for a regular property, but with some restrictions and an extra block ("Building") specific to the development model.

To manage the linked units of the development (add, remove, view statistics), go back to the development record using the "View Development" button in the toolbar.

Form progress bar

At the top of the page you will see a bar showing the percentage completed of the form. Aim for 100% so the development appears with priority in search engines and portals.

Restrictions specific to Development mode

Operation: forced to Sale

The Operation field is disabled and fixed to Sale. A development cannot switch to rent or short-term rent without breaking the integrity of the linked units.

The helper text "Cannot be edited." appears below the select.

Property type: forced to Real Estate Development

The Property type field is disabled and fixed to Real Estate Development (id 23). Changing it would unlink the child units and break the sales logic.

If you need to change the type: the only way is to delete the development (the units are unlinked automatically) and create a new property with the correct type.

Section 1: General Information

Editable fields:

Code	Unique internal code (e.g. `EMPR123`)
Branch / Agent	Branch the development belongs to
Title	Minimum 20 characters. Placeholder: "Modern 10-storey building with amenities"
Street and number	Minimum 5 characters
Postal code	Minimum 4 characters
Between streets	Optional
Country / State / District	Required zones
Locality / City / Neighbourhood	Zone 4 where the country uses it
Description	Minimum 20 characters. Placeholder: "Enter a text describing the real estate development"
External website URL	Optional, if you have a landing page for the project on another platform

Section 2: Measurements (interpreted as the development's minimums / totals)

Field	Meaning
Total covered m² of the development	Total covered area of the project
Total m² of the development	Total area including land
Age	Years since construction (0 if off-plan or brand new)
Rooms / Spaces from	Minimum number of rooms across the units
Bedrooms from	Minimum number of bedrooms
Full bathrooms from	Minimum number of full bathrooms
Parking type	Parking space, covered garage, etc.
Total parking spaces	Total parking spaces in the project

Building block (developments only)

Three optional fields that appear ONLY in development mode, within the General Information section after parking:

Field	Description
Building: Total floors	Total number of floors in the building (e.g. 14)
Building: Units per floor	Units on each floor (e.g. 4)
Levels / Floors per unit	Floors each unit spans (e.g. 1 = single level, 2 = duplex)

These data enrich the public record of the development and travel to the destinations where the project is published.

Development data

Below the Building block is the Development data section. All of these fields are optional: leave blank whatever does not apply.

For publishing to portals

Field	Description
Marketing tagline	Selling phrase for the project, up to 200 characters. It heads the development record, above the "Real Estate Development" label
Handover date	When the project is delivered. It is shown on the record next to the label
Development logo	Brand image. Here you can upload it: the development already exists

If the handover date has already passed, it is saved anyway and you will see a notice below the field. A project that has already been delivered has to remain editable.

Development composition

Total homes, lifts, offices, retail units and towers.

Horizontal developments

Total houses and lots. They are for gated communities and land subdivisions: leave them blank if your development is a building.

These numbers are the ones you declare for the complete project. They do not change when you link units, and they coexist with the actual counts the system calculates in the statistics on the record: the declared value is your plan, the calculated one is what you have already loaded.

Upload, replace or remove the logo

In the Development data section you will see the logo box:

Button	What it does
Upload logo	Opens the file picker. When it finishes, the logo appears in the box
Replace	The same button, once a logo is already loaded. The previous one is discarded
Remove	Deletes the logo. This cannot be undone: you have to upload it again

Where it is stored	On the Mapaprop server

The logo is saved at the moment you upload it, without waiting for you to click "Save and Continue". If you upload the logo and then leave without saving the rest of the form, the logo is still loaded.

Section 3: Details (optional)

Same as for a regular property:

Balcony type
Service rooms and half baths
Orientation, Location
Air conditioning, Heating, Water heater
Features and tags (pool, barbecue, etc.)

What is NOT edited here

From Edit Development you modify the general data of the project. To manage other aspects, go back to the development record:

Saving changes

Click Save and Continue at the end of the form. Changes are reflected immediately:

On the development record and its general information panel.
In the active publications on your website, MemudoYa.com and your networks.
In the property listing of your account and of the network.

Changes to the "Building" fields (total floors / units per floor / levels per unit) update ONLY the development record. They do NOT modify the linked units individually. For changes that affect each unit (e.g. price, status), edit the corresponding unit from the development listing.

Publishing to external portals is not available for developments yet. In the Publication panel of a project you will not see the Zonaprop, MercadoLibre, Argenprop or Cabaprop cards, even if those accounts are connected. For your regular properties they keep working exactly as before.

Tip: Upload at least one 3D render and one typical floor plan to the gallery. Developments with complete visual material get 3x more enquiries than those with exterior photos only.
