Each sign can have a photo. It helps you recognize it at a glance in the inventory and on its details page, especially when you handle several similar models.
It is optional: a sign without a photo works just the same.
When loading the sign
In the New sign dialog, at the bottom, is the Sign photo (optional) field. Press Choose photo, select the image and you will see the thumbnail before saving.
The photo is uploaded along with the entry. If the upload fails for some reason, the sign is created anyway and the system tells you: you can add it later from the details page.
From the sign details
From the details page, Edit button. There you will find the photo block with the current thumbnail and two buttons:
- Upload photo / Change photo: choose an image from your computer or your phone.
- Delete: removes the photo. It asks you for confirmation, and clarifies that what is deleted is the photo, not the sign.
The photo is saved instantly, without waiting for the form's Save button.
Which files it accepts
- Formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF.
- Maximum size: 5 MB.
Photos are resized automatically, so there is no need to shrink them beforehand.
