  • IMPORTANT - System Schedules Based on GMT
All execution times for automated processes (cancellations, data deletion) are expressed in **GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
    Conversion to your time zone:
    • Argentina (GMT-3): Subtract 3 hours. E.g.: 01:00 GMT = 22:00 the previous day
    • Brazil - Brasília (GMT-3): Subtract 3 hours. E.g.: 01:00 GMT = 22:00 the previous day
    • Spain (GMT+1): Add 1 hour. E.g.: 01:00 GMT = 02:00 the same day
    • Mexico - Mexico City (GMT-6): Subtract 6 hours. E.g.: 01:00 GMT = 19:00 the previous day
    • Colombia (GMT-5): Subtract 5 hours. E.g.: 01:00 GMT = 20:00 the previous day

Account Blocked? Pay the charge to keep using Mapaprop or report a problem.

Contents of this Help Article

Attention: Mapaprop is self-managed SaaS software. The system is automated and self-managed, so it is your responsibility to keep your account up to date to avoid blocks.

Payment Responsibility

If you have any type of contracted service, whether one-time or monthly billing, you must not let your charges expire.

Important: Generated charges have up to 3 days of tolerance. During this period, alert emails are sent to the inbox registered in the My Company section. After 3 days, you will be redirected to the payment request screen. The block is removed once you pay the outstanding charges and the payment is credited.

Each type of service has an expiration deadline. All this information is reflected in your Account Summary.

To make a payment through your account click here

Mapaprop does not send payment coupons. The system is self-managed; you can generate one from your Account > Account Summary > Pay. For monthly Subscription services, charges are automatically debited from your credit card until you cancel the subscription.

Account Expiration and Blocking

When a charge expires (becomes due) and remains overdue for 3 consecutive days without the debt being settled, your Mapaprop account is blocked.

Attention: If your Mapaprop account has been blocked, you will not be able to operate until you make a payment and it is credited in your Payment History. Keep in mind that this payment will include both overdue and non-overdue charges, since your account was penalized. If you need an urgent unblock, we recommend paying with a credit card. After paying by card, you must log out and log back in to operate normally.

Understand that the account will only be unblocked once you have paid the charges and the money has been credited. Making a payment through cash-based methods will delay the unblocking process, since crediting takes longer depending on the method you choose.

The account is unblocked automatically once the paid charge is credited. To make a payment through your account click here

Remember that the system notifies you by email of each event that makes up the charge-generation process: overdue charges, payment generation, pending payments, paid charges, or rejected charges.

Keep in mind that in Mapaprop you can pay several charges together, so the best way to see how the payment was made is the Payment History tab.

Charge Types and Individual Policy

There is a variety of services that can be contracted on Mapaprop. Each service has its own characteristics. The following list details them.

Website Design

If you have contracted a real estate website with Mapaprop and requested a custom design at a cost, this may be your case.

From the moment of official contracting, the system will automatically generate a one-time charge, which will be communicated to you by email to the address registered in My Company, and will also be recorded in the Account Summary section.

From this same moment, the My Website Console section of your Mapaprop.com account will be enabled so you can see information about your contracted service.

Mapaprop has a production process that ensures your website must be online within a maximum of 15 days. Help us achieve this goal by replying to emails quickly with your approval or correction requests.

Charges for One-Off Services

This type of service has an hourly rate, although it can be split into half-hour or quarter-hour increments.

Charges for one-off services can be for:

  • Website design revamps
  • Reactivations of archived Website designs
  • Custom one-off services for a client
  • Other custom services

Traditional Web Hosting (Services 32, 34, 37, 50)

This type of hosting includes the services: Web Hosting Standard (32), Web Hosting Light (34), Web Hosting Flex (37), and Web Hosting Express Flex (50). The ability to contract these services was blocked on January 1, 2024.

Note (March 2026): As of March 2026, these services operate exactly the same as the other subscription services: billing takes place on the 20th of each month, and cancellation for non-payment is fully automatic.

Every Mapaprop website user has a monthly maintenance charge for hosting. The website hosting charge is generated monthly, and it can be cancelled at any time, as long as your account is up to date.

Service policy:

  • Charged in advance: It is charged in advance, which may be the proportional value of the fee from the day you subscribe until the following 20th. On that day the monthly subscription renews, with 100% of the advance charge.
  • There is a running-balance mode for the Monthly Hosting charge. It includes a 3-day grace period from when the charge is generated.
  • Once the charge is generated, you have up to 3 days to pay it. After that period, the charge is considered overdue and your account switches to Account Blocked status, requesting payment in order to keep using the service.
  • If your account status is Account Blocked, you will receive system emails requesting payment. You will be able to use the system once you pay that debt.
  • An Account Blocked status does not affect your website, which remains active and visible to all your clients.
  • If you do not pay, your account will remain blocked, and additional monthly charges will keep being generated and can accumulate.
  • When your account is blocked, you are required to pay all charges to unblock the service. Both overdue and not-yet-due ones.

Important: Service cancellation is self-managed. You can cancel your service at any time using your Mapaprop account administrator's username and password, from the Manage Plan screen. If you do not request the cancellation, the system will keep generating charges for 4 months, at which point the service will be automatically cancelled for non-payment.

Cancellation timeline for non-payment:

Month 1: Invoice #1 generated (day 20)
→ 3 days later: Account blocked if not paid

Month 2: Invoice #2 generated
→ Reminder emails according to account status

       → Website unpublished
       → Domain removed from server
       → Custom-domain email services disconnected
       → Design archived
→ Can be reactivated by paying the debt (data intact for 90 days)

📖 Detailed Technical Information: To learn exactly which data is deleted, the step-by-step process, account recovery, and other technical details, see Technical Annex: Cancellation and Data Management

⚠️ IMPORTANT - EMAILS WITH YOUR OWN DOMAIN

If you use emails with your custom domain (example: contacto@suinmobiliaria.com):

When you cancel the service, Mapaprop will remove your domain's DNS configuration:

  • ❌ Your emails will temporarily stop working
  • ❌ Emails sent to your domain will bounce
  • ⚠️ This happens because the DNS records (MX, A, CNAME) are removed from Route 53

You will NOT lose your emails if you already have a provider such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Zoho Mail. Your messages are safe on those servers.

What you should do: Reconfigure your domain's DNS with another hosting provider or with your domain registrar so that it points to your email service.

📖 DNS reconfiguration guide: See Annex E: DNS Reconfiguration for Emails

Recommendation: Set up the alternative DNS BEFORE the cancellation to avoid a service interruption.

Important: You can pay your debt at any time before day 19 of month 5 and recover the service. After that date, data deletion is irreversible.

Service Restoration: If you want to reactivate your website after cancellation (but before deletion), you can do so by paying the outstanding debt. The archived design can be reactivated for an Initial Setup fee.

Service Reactivation After Deletion: If all deadlines have passed, you can contract the service again as if it were the first time, as long as your account is up to date. For custom designs, since we archive the design, it can be recovered for a reactivation cost of 1 hour of service (See Plans and pricing).

Contractual features:

  • Activation: Service activation starts the same day you subscribe.
  • Monthly renewal: Automatic, on the 20th of each month.
  • Initial Charge: Charged in advance, which may be the proportional value of the fee from the day you subscribe until the following 20th. On that day the monthly subscription renews, with 100% of the advance charge.

If your card eventually expires, you can request Help and support so we can walk you through the steps and you don't lose your data.
  • Cancellation: Service cancellation is self-managed and deferred, from the Manage Plan screen, using your Mapaprop account administrator's username and password. When you request the cancellation, the service stays active until day 19 of the month (end of the already-paid billing cycle), and is automatically deactivated on day 20. If you subscribed with Mercadopago or Paypal, you can also manage the subscription from those accounts.
  • Refunds: There are no refunds for early cancellations. However, you get to use the service until the last day of the period already paid for.

Cancellation for non-payment (Automatic Debit):

Contracting a featured listing on Memudoya.com generates a one-time, non-recurring charge. This means you only receive charges each time you contract it.

Policy:

  • You contract it and a charge per day is generated, according to the number of days chosen
  • The charge is applied to your account immediately and is also sent by email
  • Once the charge is generated, you have up to 7 days to pay it
  • After that period it is considered overdue and your account starts to be in default and at risk of being blocked
  • If you have received the overdue notices for 7 consecutive days and have not paid your obligations, your account will be blocked
  • When your account is blocked, you are required to pay all charges to unblock the service

Types of Cancellation: Voluntary vs. For Non-Payment

Important Recommendation

If you know you won't be able to pay for a while, it's best to cancel voluntarily before debt accumulates:

  • ✅ Your data is preserved indefinitely
  • ✅ You can come back whenever you want without losing information
  • ✅ You don't accumulate debt or surcharges
  • ✅ Simpler reactivation process

If you let the system cancel you for debt:

  • ❌ You lose all your data after 90 days
  • ❌ You must pay all the accumulated debt + surcharges
  • ❌ If the 90 days pass, you must start from scratch

Payment Rejections on Subscriptions

  • Debit failure: If Mapaprop is unable to charge the Subscription during a given month, the system does not cancel it; instead it generates a charge on your Mapaprop account so you can pay it manually from the system. This way you don't lose the service.
  • Failure tolerance: Automatic debit has a tolerance of up to a maximum of 2 continuous months for subscriptions and 4 months for websites.
  • Direct charges will be generated on the account during those months.
  • Afterward the service is automatically cancelled, and you can subscribe again whenever you want.

Cancellation of Services with a Monthly Charge

Service cancellation is self-managed. To request the cancellation of any service:

  1. Log in with the administrator's username and password for your Mapaprop account
  2. Pay all pending charges in your Account Summary
  3. Go to Manage Plan > Service Name > Cancel

If you subscribed with an email linked to a Mercadopago or Paypal account, you can also manage the subscription from those accounts.

What Happens to My Data During Cancellation?

Difference Between Service Types

Not all services handle your data the same way. Depending on the service you contract, the data-deletion process varies:

Basic Services (Website Hosting)

Services 32, 34, 37, 50, 51, 53, 60 - Website Only

If you have one of these services, your data is more limited:

  • ✅ Website (files, design, content)
  • ✅ Domain configuration
  • ✅ Property search index

What gets deleted?

  • Website files
  • DNS configuration
  • Search index

Processing time: ~5 seconds

Full Services (Full Plans)

Services 52, 54, 55, 56, 57, 59 - Plus, Pro+, Business, Business Manager Plans

If you have one of these services, your data includes:

  • ✅ Everything from basic services
  • ✅ Published properties (with images and videos)
  • ✅ MercadoLibre integration
  • ✅ Zonaprop integration
  • ✅ Installed apps
  • ✅ Collaborative networks
  • ✅ Captured leads and contacts
  • ✅ Custom-domain email settings

What gets deleted?

  • Everything above from basic services
  • All your published properties
  • Images, videos, and floor plans (can be several GBs)
  • Integration tokens and credentials (MercadoLibre, Zonaprop)
  • Installed apps and settings
  • Memberships in real estate networks
  • Leads and contacts database
  • Email settings (if you use your own domain)

Processing time: ~30-60 seconds (depends on the amount of data)

Recovery Window: 90 Calendar Days

When your service is automatically cancelled for non-payment, your data is NOT deleted immediately.

You have exactly 90 calendar days from the cancellation date to recover your account without losing information.

├─ Data deletion is executed
├─ All data is deleted according to service type
└─ ❌ UNRECOVERABLE - No backup

Important: The 90-day count is from the cancellation date, not from when you receive the email.

Pre-Deletion Warning Emails

During the 90-day window, you will receive 4 warning emails, progressively more urgent, so you can regularize your situation before the final deletion.

These emails are counted in days elapsed since the cancellation date (that is, days remaining until the data is deleted):

DayEmailToneMessage
Day 30WarningInformative (yellow)"60 days left before your data is deleted"
Day 60UrgentUrgent (orange)"30 days left before your data is deleted"
Day 80Final NoticeCritical (red)"10 days left - No more reminders"
Day 89EmergencyEmergency (dark red)"Your data will be deleted TOMORROW"

Content of each email:

  • Client and cancelled-service information
  • Visual countdown with days remaining
  • Detailed list of data that will be deleted
  • Outstanding debt amount
  • "Pay Now" button to regularize
  • Billing contact

⚠️ The day-89 email is the FINAL NOTICE. After that email, you will not receive any more reminders before the final deletion.

What Data Is ALWAYS Kept?

Even though your operational data is deleted, for legal and tax reasons some data is kept permanently:

Data KeptReasonTerm
Invoices and receiptsAFIP tax obligation10 years
Payment historyAccounting10 years
Account information (email, name)Internal auditIndefinite
Subscription change logTraceabilityIndefinite

This data is NOT deleted even after the 90 days have passed.

⚠️ IMPORTANT - Emails With Your Own Domain

If you use emails with your own domain (example: contacto@suinmobiliaria.com), you must take action before the cancellation:

Consequences of the cancellation:

When you cancel the service, Mapaprop will remove your domain's DNS configuration:

  • ❌ Your emails will temporarily stop working
  • ❌ Emails sent to your domain will bounce
  • ⚠️ This happens because the DNS records (MX, A, CNAME) are removed from Route 53

You will NOT lose your emails if you already have a provider such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Zoho Mail. Your messages are safe on those servers.

What should you do?

You must reconfigure your domain's DNS with another hosting provider or with your domain registrar so it points to your email service.

📖 See the full guide: Annex E: DNS Reconfiguration for Emails

Recommendation: Set up the alternative DNS BEFORE the cancellation to avoid a service interruption.

How to Recover Your Account (Within 30 Days)

If you were cancelled and want to avoid the data deletion and thus recover your account, follow these steps:

1. Regularize the debt

You must pay the accumulated debt. Options:

  • Full payment (only option): Pay your full debt before the data deletion.
    • Example: $60,000 debt + $3,000 surcharge = $63,000
    • ✅ Immediate recovery with no restrictions

2. Contact support

Email: collections@mapaprop.com Subject: Account Recovery - ID {your customer ID}

Include:

  • Customer ID (client number)
  • Proof of payment
  • Registered account email

What If More Than 30 Days Have Passed?

If the 90-day window has already passed, your data has already been permanently deleted.

What can you recover?

  • ✅ Pay your debt
  • ✅ Use your account freely
  • ✅ You will have access only to certain data, such as users, branches, invoice history, logs, etc.
  • ❌ You CANNOT recover properties
  • ❌ You CANNOT recover images/videos
  • ❌ You CANNOT recover contacts/leads
  • ❌ You CANNOT recover settings

You will have to start from scratch as a new client:

  1. Contract the service again (current price, may differ)
  2. Re-upload properties manually
  3. Re-upload images and videos
  4. Reconfigure integrations (MercadoLibre, Zonaprop)
  5. Reconnect apps

Automatic Recovery Upon Payment (Clearing Your Record)

Good news: If you pay all of your outstanding debt, your account is recovered automatically.

When you regularize your situation by paying the full amount owed:

  1. Your account gets "cleared" - The system automatically detects that you have no more debt
  2. You can contract again - Without additional restrictions or negative marks
  3. Immediate access - Once the payment is credited, you can use Mapaprop normally

How does it work?

[You pay your entire debt]
         ↓
[System checks: Balance = $0?]
         ↓
[YES → Account recovered automatically]
         ↓
[You can contract again with no issues]

Important:

  • This applies even if your data has already been deleted
  • It does not recover the deleted data, but it does let you start fresh with no penalties
  • The process is automatic and does not require contacting support

Recommendations BEFORE Accumulating Debt: Cancel Proactively

If you know you won't be using the service, cancel before accumulating debt:

  • Avoids additional charges
  • You can come back whenever you want (with no debt)
  • Simpler recovery

Price Updates for Mapaprop Services

Mapaprop offers free services as well as paid services. System costs are represented in local currency or in US dollars. The official price list is visible in the Plans section of our institutional site www.mapaprop.com.

The system's actual prices are set in dollars, although in Argentina's case they are shown in Argentine Pesos. Any changes in the US dollar exchange rate will change the prices in pesos. Mapaprop reserves the right to adjust these prices to reflect that exchange rate, with or without prior notice.

For the rest of the countries, the price is shown and charged in US dollars. This is currently done exclusively through a Paypal Subscription.

Price Updates on Active Debts

Customers with manually-charged services (Traditional Web Hosting) receive the service first, and are then billed for it with the payment request.

These charges can accumulate on your Mapaprop account over a certain period of time. If during that time there is any kind of Mapaprop service price update, that update will also apply to the accumulated charges.

This rule has been in effect since 02-27-2020 and applies to both earlier and later charges.
