Why switch to a subscription
Since January 23, 2024 it's possible to change your website's payment system.
The system under Subscription is currently the only payment method used for new customers.
Benefits of the subscription vs. the previous model
- Your account will always be up to date and there won't be any more blocks requesting payment.
- Your account won't accumulate charges and build up a running balance that later becomes harder to pay off
- You won't receive any more automatic emails requesting payment of the debt.
- If you want to cancel the service, you can do it with a single click.
Previous system: Traditional Hosting
Until that date, the Traditional Website Hosting system works with monthly billing on the 28th of each month. The details and regulations are specified in
New System: Mapaprop Website
The Mapaprop Website+ system is the new way to hire a Website through a Subscription.
The system involves first subscribing to Mapaprop Website+, and then choosing the Express Website options to activate a site.

- From different points in the system you'll see the caption "Switch hosting to auto-debit", which you can click to access the Subscription screen, where you'll be able to see the Migrate option.
- The notice reads "Migrate your Hosting to Auto-debit". Clicking on CHOOSE PLAN will take you to the Subscription with Mercadopago screen
- Once the subscription is completed, you'll stop receiving monthly charges to pay manually, depending solely on the auto-debit.

Keep in mind that when you change the payment method, the terms of the Payment, due date and cancellation regulations also change. Up until now you paid your charges in arrears (Traditional Website Hosting). From the moment you subscribe to Mapaprop Website+, charges are billed in advance, including the partial usage charge from the moment you subscribe until the 20th.
