Active properties
Your working portfolio: the properties you are currently marketing, accessible from any screen in the system.
Overview
Out of the agency's entire inventory, there are usually only a few properties you are genuinely working on this week: the ones you are showing, the ones with offers in play, the ones a client is about to decide on.
Marking them as active sets them apart from the rest. They are stored in your account —not in your browser— so you will find them again if you log in from another computer or from your phone.
Each user has their own list of actives. What you flag does not show up for your colleagues, and vice versa.
When you have at least one active property, the active properties icon in the top bar shows a green dot. Click it to see them without leaving the screen you are on.
How to activate a property
From the Properties listing, every card has a button with the active property icon. One click activates it, another one deactivates it.
You can activate any property in your agency, no matter which branch it belongs to or who loaded it. Inventory is shared working material.
Properties belonging to other agencies that you see in Red Mapaprop cannot be activated: actives belong to your own account. To save a property from the network use Favorites, which does accept properties from other agencies.
How many you can keep active
The limit depends on your plan:
| Plan | Active properties |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Plus | 5 |
| Pro | 10 |
| Business / Business Manager | Unlimited |
On the Free plan the limit is a single active property: activating a new one automatically replaces the previous one. The system tells you which one it replaced.
On paid plans, if you have reached the cap the system offers to move you up to the next plan. You can also deactivate one you are no longer working on to free up a slot.
The active properties screen
It opens from the top bar icon → See all.
At the top you will see the counter: for example, 3/5 means you have 3 actives out of the 5 your plan allows. If your plan is unlimited, only the count is shown.
Each card has three actions:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Link contacts | Opens that property's contacts panel, to associate prospects, owner or tenant |
| View property | Goes to the full record |
| Deactivate | Removes it from your list of actives |
Deactivating a property does not unpublish or modify it: it only removes it from your personal working list.
Viewing your team's actives
If you are an administrator or manager of the account, the screen includes a See actives of: selector listing the users who have active properties and how many each one has.
It is a one-user-at-a-time view, not a list of everyone mixed together: you choose who you want to look at and you see their working portfolio. It is useful for knowing what each agent is focused on without having to ask.
You can also deactivate another user's property —the system asks for confirmation first, because you are touching someone else's list.
Sales agents do not see this selector: each one sees only their own actives.
Difference from Favorites
These are two similar functions with different purposes:
| Actives | Favorites | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is for | The ones you are working on now | The ones you want to save for later |
| Limit | Depends on the plan | Unlimited |
| Can the administrator see them? | Yes, through the user selector | No, they are private |
| From other agencies? | No, only from your account | Yes, from the network as well |
A property can be active and in favorites at the same time. They do not conflict.
Frequently asked questions
If I deactivate a property, do I lose anything? No. Deactivating only removes it from your working list. The property, its photos, its linked contacts and its publication all stay exactly the same.
Do my colleagues see what I flag as active? No. Each user has their own list. Only the account administrator or manager can consult each user's list through the selector.
What happens if a property I had active gets deleted? It disappears from your list automatically.
I downgraded my plan and had more actives than the new limit. What happens? The next time you activate a property, the system trims your list down to the current plan's limit.
