Property Moderation

Review and approve the properties your salespeople request to publish. This feature is available on the Business and Business Manager plans.

Overview

Moderation lets you control which properties get published on the portals before they go live. When a salesperson uploads a property, instead of publishing it directly, they must request your authorization. You review the property and, if everything is in order, approve it with a single click.

This screen shows all pending requests for your account. Each card represents a property waiting for your approval.

Moderation only applies to properties uploaded by salespeople. Properties uploaded by the administrator or a manager are published directly, without intermediate steps.

Accessing the screen

There are two ways to get there:

  1. Side menuReal Estate Agency > Moderation
  2. Main panelModeration card with the pending counter (orange border when there are requests waiting)

Also, every time a salesperson requests authorization you get an automatic email with a direct link to this screen.

List of pending properties

Each card shows all the information needed to decide without going into the detail view:

  • Main image: Property's cover photo
  • Code: Internal property code
  • Price: Price with its currency
  • Title: Descriptive title or address
  • Address: Location
  • Operation: Sale, rental, etc. (black tag)
  • Type: Apartment, house, PH, etc. (outlined tag)
  • Branch: Branch of the salesperson making the request
  • Salesperson: Name of the user making the request
  • Date: When the authorization was requested

If there are no pending requests, you'll see a screen with the message No pending properties.

Available actions

View the property

Press the View button (house icon). The full property record opens in the same tab, where you can review all the details: images, description, map, prices, features. Use the browser's back button to return to the moderation list.

Approve the property

Press the Approve button (orange, with a checkmark icon). The system will ask you to confirm with the message:

The property will be enabled for the salesperson to publish.

Upon confirming:

  1. The property disappears from the pending list.
  2. An automatic email is sent to the salesperson's branch notifying them of the approval.
  3. The salesperson can now publish the property on the portals.
  4. The property is marked with a blue checkmark icon in the general property listing.

Approving from the property record

Besides this screen, you can also approve a pending property by going directly to its record. In the toolbar, the Publication button is replaced by an orange Approve button while the property is pending. The confirmation flow is the same.

This is useful when you reach a property from somewhere else (search, email, notification) and want to approve it without going through this screen.

What happens when a salesperson requests authorization

When a salesperson presses Request Authorization on one of their properties:

  1. The system validates that the property has the minimum required data: type, operation, price, address, location on the map, and at least one image.
  2. If something is missing, the salesperson gets a notice and the request is not sent.
  3. If the data is complete, the moderation record is created.
  4. You receive an email with the key details and a link to this screen.
  5. The Moderation card on the main panel updates with the pending counter.

The salesperson sees a Pending tag on their property listing while waiting for your approval, and cannot publish it until you approve it.

Important rules

  • Only one pending request per property: If there's already a pending request, the salesperson cannot submit another one until you resolve it.
  • Later edits keep the approval: If the salesperson edits an already approved property, they don't need to request authorization again.
  • Administrators publish directly: Moderation only applies to properties uploaded by salespeople. What the admin/manager uploads is published without intermediate steps.
  • Rejection with reason: In the current version you can only approve. If a property doesn't meet requirements, contact the salesperson through the usual channels.
  • Plan cancellation: If the account downgrades from the Business plan, all pending requests are automatically rejected.

Frequently asked questions

  • Where do the authorization request emails go?
To the contact email of the account administrator (the one listed in My Company). If it's not configured, the request is still registered and you can see it on this screen.
  • Can I reject a property?
In the current version only approving is available. The rejection-with-reason system is planned for a future version.
  • Can I approve several properties at once?
No, each property is approved individually. Bulk approval is planned for a future version.
  • What happens if the salesperson edits the property after approving it?
The approval is kept. The salesperson can continue publishing on the portals without needing a new authorization.
  • Can managers approve too?
Yes. Both the main administrator and the managers of Business Manager accounts can access this screen and resolve pending requests.
  • Can I turn off moderation?
There's no switch to turn it off. Moderation is inherent to the Business plan. If your account doesn't need it, work with the administrator uploading properties directly (without intermediate salespeople).
  • What happens to properties that were already uploaded before having Business?
Properties that were already published remain published. Those that were unpublished require the salesperson to request authorization before they can be published.
