Favorite properties

Your personal list of saved properties: the ones you are interested in and want to find again without searching for them all over.

Overview

A favorite is a passive bookmark: it does not change anything about the property, it does not publish or unpublish it, and it does not notify anyone. It simply saves it to your list so you have it at hand.

Three things worth knowing up front:

  • It is private. Nobody else sees what you mark, not even the account administrator.
  • There is no limit. Mark as many as you want, on any plan.
  • It works for properties from other agencies. It is the only way to save a property you found in Red Mapaprop.

It is stored in your account, so your list follows you if you log in from another computer or from your phone.

How to mark a property as a favorite

From the Properties listing, every card has a heart. One click marks it, another one unmarks it.

A filled heart means it is already in your favorites. It also works in the map view.

When you are browsing Red Mapaprop and find a colleague's property that suits one of your clients, mark it as a favorite. It is the way not to lose track of it, because you cannot activate or edit it: it does not belong to your account.

Viewing your favorites

In the side menu, under Agency, there is a Favorites item, right below Properties.

Above the list there are three filters with their counters:

FilterWhat it shows
AllAll of your favorites
MineOnly properties belonging to your agency
NetworkOnly those from other agencies in the network

Each card lets you view the property (the full record, or the network record if it belongs to another agency) or remove it from favorites.

For network properties, the card shows the name of the owning agency. That way you know who it belongs to before opening it.

Unpublished properties

The behavior depends on who owns the property:

  • Yours: they keep showing up in the list even if you unpublished them, with a label indicating so. If you paused a property, you still want to keep it at hand.
  • From the network: they stop appearing once the other agency unpublishes them. We cannot show you someone else's property that is no longer public.

If a property is deleted, it disappears from your favorites automatically.

Difference from Active properties

Frequently asked questions

Does marking a property as a favorite modify it in any way? No. The favorite is yours alone and does not touch the property: not its publication, not its photos, not its contacts.

Do my colleagues see my favorites? No. Unlike active properties, favorites are private: there is no way for another user —not even the administrator— to see your list.

Can I mark a property belonging to another agency? Yes, as long as you can see it in Red Mapaprop. That is precisely the use case actives do not cover.

Is there a limit per plan? No. Mark as many as you want, on any plan.
