The Open Network is the simplest network on Mapaprop. Its purpose is to publish properties on an internal MLS accessible to subscribed members, with the option of showing them on a shared portal for more visibility. Any user with a Plus plan or higher can join freely, without needing approval.

About publication mode: The suggested default for an Open Network is Manual, but the network owner can configure it differently when creating it. They could choose "Automatic by default" if they want all members to share their properties without having to activate them one by one.
How it works
- The professional subscribes to the network from "Connect Networks (Marketplace)".
- If the network is Manual, they select which properties to publish from "Publish to Networks".
- The properties appear on the network's public portal.
- Buyers and interested parties find the properties and can contact the advertiser.
Tip: Unlike MLS networks (Cowork and Business), the Open Network does not distribute properties to members' websites. It only publishes on the network's shared portal.
Can I change my publication mode?
If the network is not Mandatory (and the Open Network usually isn't), you can change your personal configuration from that network's screen:
- If the network is Manual and you want to turn on automatic publication so you don't have to choose one by one, you can do it from your connection settings for that network.
- If the network is Automatic by default and you prefer manual control, you can also change it.
Important: If the network owner chose Mandatory mode, the switch appears disabled. In that case you can't change the behavior: all your published properties go to the network automatically.
