The Business Network is Mapaprop's most complete and exclusive MLS network. Access is by invitation from the administrator, properties are automatically distributed to the websites of all members, and it includes MLS messaging, advanced search, and co-brokering tools. Ideal for real estate groups organized under a brand with value. Requires a Mapaprop Business plan for both members and the creator. The Mapaprop Business Manager plan is optional and adds advanced network management (Business Manager console, optional white label, among other benefits).

About the publication mode: The suggested default for a Business Network is Mandatory, because this type of network is designed to guarantee full transparency between members of the same group or franchise. However, the network owner can choose a different mode (Manual or Automatic by default) when creating it. The mode is not inherent to the network type, it is decided by the creator.
How it works
- The administrator of the network invites verified professionals from the admin console.
- The invitee accepts and joins the network (requires a Mapaprop Business plan).
- Depending on the network's publication mode, their properties are published automatically or the member activates them one by one.
- Properties are distributed to the websites of all members.
- A buyer browsing Member A's website can find a property belonging to Member B.
- When a inquiry is sent, both members receive the lead in their inbox.
- The members coordinate the deal to close a co-brokering transaction.
Mandatory publication (typical mode): In most Business networks, the owner chooses Mandatory mode. This means all of the member's properties are shared with the network automatically. This guarantees full transparency and maximizes business opportunities among members. The member cannot override this behavior.
Can I change my publication mode?
It depends on the mode chosen by the network owner:
- If the network is Mandatory (the most common case in Business networks), the switch appears disabled with a lock icon. There is no option to change it: all your published properties go to the network.
- If the owner chose Manual or Automatic by default, you can change your personal setting from that network's screen.
Important: If the switch appears disabled with a lock icon, it's because the network owner configured publication as Mandatory. This is a business decision made by the administrator, not an error.
Example: co-brokering flow
- Member A publishes 15 properties in their account — in Mandatory networks, all of them automatically enter the MLS pool.
- Member B publishes 8 properties — all of them automatically enter as well.
- A buyer visits A's website and finds a property belonging to B.
- They send an inquiry message.
- Member A receives the lead as "contact origin" (it's their website).
- Member B receives the lead as "original publisher" (it's their property).
- Both coordinate the visit and close the deal with a shared commission.
Included features
- Network portal with properties from all members.
- Network properties on the participants' websites.
- Website search tools integrated with the network: code search and the property type and zone filters on each member's website include the network's properties.
- Advanced search of colleagues' properties from within Mapaprop, with a filter by office and branch of any network member (see below).
- MLS messaging between members.
- Tools for sharing colleagues' properties.
- Co-brokering with network agents: when registering a co-brokering deal, you choose the counterpart by office -> branch -> agent across all offices in the network.
- Admin console with network rules.
Filter the network by office and branch
When you view the properties of a Business Network (for example, your franchise network), you are not limited to your own office's properties: you can browse from the general to the specific.
- In Properties, tap Networks and choose the network (e.g. "GO UP").
- An Office selector appears with the network's other member offices.
- When you pick an office, the Branch selector for that office is enabled.
- The list narrows to the properties of the office (and branch) you chose.
This lets you quickly find a specific colleague's portfolio within the network, without sifting through the whole pool.
Only the public data of the other offices is shown (name, branch, agent). You do not see their private contact information. Available in Business Networks (closed MLS) — it's one of the advantages of belonging to a closed network of trust.
The same network directory (office -> branch -> agent) is what you use when choosing the counterpart of a co-brokering in the deal modal.
Administrator settings
The network administrator has access to advanced settings:
- Publication Mode: choose between Mandatory, Automatic by default, or Manual when creating the network.
- Website: enable or disable distribution to members' websites.
- Network Rules: configure specific rules for members (hide sections, block actions, custom rules).
- Marketplace: enable or disable the network's visibility in the network Marketplace.
Coming soon
- Property moderation: members' properties will require administrator approval before being published.
- Dashboard and reports: aggregated KPIs for the entire network.
- Formal co-brokering: commission splitting between offices with deal tracking.
