Your website can show highlighted blocks that invite visitors to take the next step: message you on WhatsApp, request an appraisal, browse your properties or get in touch. These are the calls to action, and you decide what they say and where they lead, without depending on anyone.

Overview

Your home page has room for up to 3 calls to action. Each one is a block with text and a button, and each one is independent: you can use just one, two or all three.

They do not appear together: they fall spread out along the page, separating the different sections. That determines which one suits you best depending on what you want to achieve.

BlockWhere it appearsWhat it usually helps with
1Right below the search barThe first thing seen by someone who did not find what they were looking for: an appraisal, a contact
2In the middle of the home pageThe largest one, ideal for your main message
3At the bottom of the pageThe final push before the visitor leaves: WhatsApp, phone, contact

Everything is set up from Website > Design, in the Calls to action section, with a real-time preview before saving.

This feature is part of your site's design editing. To see it alongside the rest of the options (colors, typography, images), check out Edit website design.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Website > Design and scroll down to the Calls to action section
  2. Choose the block you want to use (1, 2 or 3)
  3. Fill in its text and its button (see the fields below)
  4. Turn on the block's Visible switch
  5. Check how it looks in the preview above
  6. Click Save

The three blocks are saved together with a single button, which is enabled when there are changes and all links are valid.

The fields of each block

FieldWhat it is for
TitleThe main phrase, the one read first
DescriptionA supporting line (optional)
Button textWhat the button says, for example Contact us
Button linkWhere that button leads when clicked

Turning on and off

Each block has a Visible / Hidden switch. When you turn it on, it appears instantly in the preview, in its real position within the home page.

A block that is turned on but has no text is not shown on your site. An empty color band says nothing to the visitor, so the system omits it. If this happens, you will see a yellow notice on the screen reminding you.

Where the button can lead

This is the most flexible part: the button can open WhatsApp, lead to a page on your site, start a call, open email or go to another address.

How the WhatsApp number is built

The number goes together, without +, without spaces, without dashes and without the leading 0 or the 15: country code + area code + number.

Your numberIn the link
+54 9 11 2233-4455https://wa.me/5491122334455
(011) 15-2233-4455 → Argentinahttps://wa.me/5491122334455
+52 1 55 1234 5678 → Mexicohttps://wa.me/5215512345678

Test your WhatsApp link by pasting it into the browser before saving it. If the number is built wrong, WhatsApp warns you that it is not valid — and it is better that you find out than a client.

The tel: link may do nothing on a desktop computer. Cell phones open the phone directly, but a computer only calls if it has a program installed that knows how to do it. If you want a button that always works, on any device, use WhatsApp: it opens the app on the phone and WhatsApp Web on the computer.

The full detail of each link option, with more examples and the list of links the system does not accept, is in Edit website design.

If your site has a custom design

If your site is one of those we design to measure, the calls to action exist just the same and are shown with your site's design: your typography, your colors and your buttons, not a generic format.

  • If your design already came with bands of this kind, you will find them already loaded with the text you approved. Edit them whenever you want.
  • If your design did not come with any, the blocks are there just the same, turned off, ready for the day you want to use them.

Each block has one button. That is what the system lets you edit on your own. The rest of the composition —icons, background images, labels— is part of your site's design.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use all three blocks?

No. You can use just one, two or all three. The ones you leave off or without text do not appear on your site.

Are changes applied instantly?

Yes. Once you save, the calls to action are applied immediately. There is no need to republish or wait.

Can I change where the button leads?

Yes, whenever you want. You edit the block's link, save, and the button starts leading to the new destination.

Why is my enabled block not showing on the site?

Because it has no text. A visible but empty block is omitted so as not to leave a color band without a message. Fill in at least the title and save again.
