Internet domains are always your property and responsibility. Mapaprop can help you register the domain in your name and delegate it, but is in no case responsible for annual renewal. Your domain is your brand on the internet, therefore we recommend giving it the importance it deserves.

What is an internet domain?

An internet domain is a comprehensible identification to use on the internet network that is associated with a connected device to access it.

In other words: an internet domain is the way people can access your website, which is located on a device (server) permanently connected to the network.

For example: www.yourrealestateagency.com. It's like your office address, but on the internet.

With Mapaprop, you can connect your own domain to your website so your clients can find you easily.

Who can manage domains?

Only account administrators can add or remove domains.

If you are an agent and need to add or remove a domain, contact your account administrator.

How many domains can I have?

The number of domains depends on your plan:

Note: All plans allow at least 1 domain. If you need more than 5, contact support.

Free temporary domain (yourrealestateagency.mapaprop.com)

If you don't have your own domain yet, you can activate with one click a free temporary domain in the form yourrealestateagency.mapaprop.com, so your website has a usable address while you get and configure your permanent domain.

How to activate it:

1. Go to Websites > Your site > Domains.
2. If the site doesn't have any domain yet, you'll see the Create temporary domain button.
3. Choose the subdomain name (we suggest one based on your real estate agency name) and confirm.
4. Done: your site is available at yourrealestateagency.mapaprop.com.

Things to consider:

• It's only available while the site has no domain (it's the starting point).
• The chosen name must contain part of your real estate agency name.
• Like any domain management, only account administrators can create it.
• It's an address provided by Mapaprop intended as a step prior to your own domain: your brand on the internet is always your domain.

How to add a domain

Step 1: Configure the nameservers at your registrar

Before adding the domain in Mapaprop, you need to configure the nameservers where you purchased your domain (NIC.ar, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.).

Configure these 4 nameservers:

ns1.pucaralabs.com
ns2.pucaralabs.com
ns3.pucaralabs.com
ns4.pucaralabs.com

Important: This change can take between 1 and 48 hours to propagate across the internet. We recommend waiting at least 1 hour before continuing.

Step 2: Verify the delegation

1. Log into your Mapaprop panel
2. Go to Websites > Your site > Domains
3. Click on Add domain
4. Enter your domain (e.g.: yourrealestateagency.com)
5. Click on Verify

The system will verify that the nameservers are correctly configured.

Step 3: Activate the domain

If verification is successful, click Create domain to activate it.

In a few minutes your domain will be working and pointing to your Mapaprop website.

How to remove a domain

If you have more than 1 domain

1. Go to Websites > Your site > Domains
2. Find the domain you want to remove
3. Click on the trash icon
4. Confirm deletion

If it's your only domain

Removing your only domain has important consequences:

• Your website will have no public address
• Visitors won't be able to access your site
• You'll need to add a new domain for it to work again

Therefore, we ask for triple confirmation before removing your last domain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I add more domains?

If you have a basic plan, you can only have 1 domain. To add more, upgrade your plan to Pro or Business.

How long does it take for my domain to work?

Once you configure the nameservers and add the domain in Mapaprop, it usually works in less than 1 hour. In exceptional cases it can take up to 48 hours.

What happens if my domain shows "Not delegated"?

It means the nameservers are not configured correctly yet or haven't propagated. Verify:

1. That you've entered the exact 4 nameservers
2. That at least 1 hour has passed since the change
3. Try verifying again

Can I have a free address while I get my domain?

Yes. You can activate a free temporary domain yourrealestateagency.mapaprop.com from Domains > Create temporary domain (available when the site doesn't have any domain yet). It activates in seconds, with HTTPS, and is automatically replaced when you add your own domain. See the "Free temporary domain" section above.

Can I use subdomains?

No, currently only main domains are supported (e.g.: yourrealestateagency.com), not subdomains (e.g.: sales.yourrealestateagency.com).

What happens if I remove a domain by mistake?

You can add it again following the same steps. If the nameservers are still configured, verification will be immediate.

Why does my .com.ar domain take time to verify?

Domains .com.ar registered at NIC.ar sometimes take longer to propagate. If you receive a "timeout" error, wait a few minutes and try again.
