New Zonaprop API publication system

Since June 7, 2024 it is now possible to publish on Zonaprop instantly.

Until now, Mapaprop offered a connection to publish with Zonaprop under an asynchronous model. This meant that when you published a property, it would take effect on Zonaprop after several hours.

From now on, publication on Zonaprop will be instant thanks to the new synchronous system (Zonaprop API)

Clients who are currently connected can choose to migrate to the new system.

We recommend migrating as soon as possible.

Zonaprop XML:

  • Pros:
    • Publication is fully compatible
    • Making changes to the property is possible without unpublishing on Zonaprop
  • Cons:
    • Publication is not instant; it can take several hours. The same applies to unpublishing.
    • You do not control publication and unpublication directly.

Zonaprop API:

  • Pros:
    • Allows instant publication.
    • You have full control over the publication and unpublication event.
    • Edits you make to the property from Mapaprop are sent to Zonaprop automatically.

Automatic listing synchronization covers the publication status (published/unpublished) and the plan, as long as the property was originally loaded from Mapaprop. Mapaprop does not import the listing content (title, price, description) from Zonaprop: you manage it from Mapaprop, and the next edit you make there overwrites the listing on Zonaprop.

How to migrate

Start migration

  • To start the migration, click the button

  • You will receive an email with these instructions. Read [Things to keep in mind](Zonaprop%20Migrar%20a%20publicaci%C3%B3n%20sincr%C3%B3nica%20(instant%C3%A1%20d366b01d2beb4035b67b5607f465557f.md)
  • Reply to the email writing "I accept starting the migration"
  • You will need to wait between 12 to 24 hours to receive a confirmation and instructions to continue.
    • You will need to reconnect your account with Zonaprop. Note that you will get a message similar to this one… ACCEPT

  • From that moment on, you will publish only through the new system.
  • If there is a problem with any listing, please report a ticket immediately, providing the property code and the Zonaprop plan where you want to publish it. Meanwhile you can continue publishing the rest of your properties.

Things to keep in mind

  • The migration takes approximately 24 hours, and when you request it, you will receive an email with instructions, which you must reply to with a confirmation that you want to start it: "I wish to start the migration".
  • During the migration process, your properties will be unpublished from Zonaprop. We estimate the unpublication period may last about 12 to 20 hours.
  • How much shorter that unpublication time is will largely depend on you following the steps once you receive our notice.
  • If you handle this task promptly, the time will likely be shorter.
  • If there is a problem with any listing, report the problem to us providing the property code and the Zonaprop plan where you want to publish it.
