Publish on Argenprop.com

The integration with Argenprop lets you publish your properties on the portal directly from Mapaprop, without needing to enter the data twice.

To publish on Argenprop, you must first Connect with Argenprop.

Requirements

To publish on Argenprop you need:

  1. An active Argenprop account, with available subscription (points).
  2. A Mapaprop Plus subscription or higher.
  3. To be a real estate agency in Argentina.
  4. To have your Argenprop account connected in Mapaprop (from Connect with Argenprop).

Publishing

From each Property, press the publish button to access the Publish screen. In the Connections section, find the Argenprop card.

Publishing on Argenprop is independent of the Operation status (suspended, sold, rented, reserved). Mapaprop doesn't transmit the operation status to the portal; if you want to communicate it, include it in the title or description.

Marking a property as sold, rented, reserved or suspended does NOT unpublish it from Argenprop. The listing stays active on the portal. If you want to take the listing down, unpublish it manually from the Argenprop card in the publication panel.

Starting publication

  1. On the Argenprop card, press Publish.
  2. If it's the first time you're publishing in that zone, the zone mapping dialog will open (see below). Complete it just once per zone.
  3. Wait a few seconds while Mapaprop creates the listing on Argenprop.
  4. When finished, the card shows the published listing, with a View listing button that opens it directly on Argenprop.

The card also shows a "Listing data: X%" indicator with the percentage of completed features of your listing.

Publishing on Argenprop consumes points from your portal subscription. If you don't have enough subscription points, Mapaprop will notify you when publishing and the listing won't be created. Manage your subscription directly with Argenprop.

Assigning points (positioning)

After publishing, a modal automatically opens to assign points to your listing and improve its positioning on Argenprop. The widget shows your available subscription and the segment statistics (positions and number of visits over the last 30 days) so you can decide how many points to assign.

You can reopen the assignment whenever you want with the ⭐ Points button on the Argenprop card (while the property is published), or per listing from View listings online.

After publishing, points may take a few seconds to become available: Argenprop needs to index the new listing. If the widget shows an error the first time you open it, wait a few seconds — it retries and loads on its own.

Unpublishing

To take a listing down, press Unpublish on the Argenprop card. The listing stops being published on the portal.

Status update

Every time you access the Publication panel, Mapaprop checks the listing's actual status against Argenprop and aligns the local status:

  • If the listing is no longer ACTIVE on Argenprop (you took it down there, it expired or ran out of points), Mapaprop marks it as unpublished.
  • If the listing is still active, it stays published and the View listing link is updated.

Mapaprop doesn't import the content of the listing from Argenprop: you control the content, and the next edit you make in Mapaprop overwrites the listing on Argenprop. That's why it's not a good idea to edit listings directly on Argenprop: those changes are lost the next time you edit from Mapaprop.

Manage your Argenprop listings only from Mapaprop. If you also load or edit them directly in the Argenprop panel, you may get duplicate or out-of-sync listings, depending on how Argenprop processes each change. Mapaprop is your single point of control.

Updating published properties

If your property is published on Argenprop, editing it in Mapaprop (price, photos, description, address, etc.) automatically updates the listing on the portal. You don't need to unpublish and republish.

If something fails, unpublish from Argenprop using the card, wait a few seconds and publish again.

Zone mapping

The first time you publish in a specific zone, Mapaprop needs to associate the Mapaprop zone with the corresponding location on Argenprop. This is done only once per zone:

  1. Select the Argenprop locality.
  2. Optionally, select the neighborhood.
  3. Confirm the association.

Once associated, all properties in that same zone are published without repeating this step.

What data is sent to Argenprop

When publishing, Mapaprop automatically sends:

  • Title and description
  • Property type (apartment, house, land, etc.)
  • Operation (sale, rental, temporary rental)
  • Price and fees
  • Location (address, coordinates, mapped zone)
  • Physical features (surface area, rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.)
  • Amenities (pool, grill, garage, security, etc.)
  • Images
  • Real estate agency contact details

Fill in as much property data as possible in Mapaprop before publishing. The "Listing data: X%" indicator shows you how much information you're sending; the higher it is, the better positioned your listing will be.

Points and subscription

Unlike other portals that work with "available publications", Argenprop works with a subscription points system: you have a subscription with a number of points that you distribute among your listings to position them (more points, better position).

  • The subscription (buying or renewing points) is managed directly with Argenprop.
  • The assignment of those points to each listing is done from Mapaprop, with the points widget (see Assigning points (positioning)).

In the View listings online list (from Connect with Argenprop) you can see the points assigned to each listing.

If you run out of points, you won't be able to publish new listings until you renew your subscription with Argenprop.

Search published properties

Properties published on Argenprop are identified with a green "Argenprop" tag in the Search list. You can also use the portal filter to see only properties published on Argenprop.

Messages and inquiries (leads)

Inquiries you receive from Argenprop arrive automatically in your Messages / Leads Inbox, where you can reply to them. The reply is forwarded to the interested party through Argenprop.

Troubleshooting

  • The zone isn't mapped when publishing
When publishing in a zone for the first time, complete the mapping by associating the locality (and optionally the neighborhood) on Argenprop in the dialog that appears.
  • I don't have enough subscription / points
Publishing on Argenprop consumes points from your portal subscription. Renew or expand your subscription directly with Argenprop and try again.
  • The listing shows as unpublished after having published it
When opening the publication panel, Mapaprop checks the actual status against Argenprop. If the listing is no longer ACTIVE (expired, ran out of points, or was taken down on Argenprop), it's marked as unpublished. Check the status in View listings online.
  • The points widget shows an error when opened
This usually happens the first time, right after publishing: Argenprop is still indexing the new listing. Wait a few seconds and the widget will retry and load on its own; if not, close it and reopen it with the ⭐ Points button.
  • I edited the property and don't see the change on Argenprop
The update is triggered automatically when you edit in Mapaprop. Argenprop may take a few minutes to process the change (especially images). If it's still not reflected after several minutes, report it from Support.
  • Error when publishing
Check that your Argenprop account is connected, that you have available subscription points, that the property has the minimum required data filled in (type, operation, price, location) and that the zone is mapped. If the problem persists, report it from Support > Tickets.

ATTENTION: Properties published from Mapaprop should not be edited, published or unpublished directly on Argenprop.

Premium features: Publishing on Argenprop is a feature for customers with a Subscription.

Found a problem? You can report it from Support > Tickets in the Mapaprop menu.
