Publish on Zonaprop.com

The integration with Zonaprop lets you publish your properties on Argentina's largest real estate portal directly from Mapaprop, without having to load the data twice.

To publish on Zonaprop, you must first Connect with Zonaprop

There are two ways to connect with Zonaprop. New clients connect automatically using the API method (recommended).

Requirements

To publish on Zonaprop you need:

  1. An active Zonaprop account
  2. A Mapaprop Plus or higher subscription
  3. Your Zonaprop account connected to Mapaprop (from Connect with Zonaprop)
  4. Available listings on your Zonaprop plan

Publishing with Zonaprop API

🔄

Publishing and unpublishing takes only a few seconds (immediate sync)

For Zonaprop, publication is independent of the Operation status (suspended, sold, rented, reserved). It is entirely up to you to publish properties with those statuses. Mapaprop will never transmit status information under any circumstances. You can include it in the description or the title.

Marking a property as sold, rented, reserved or suspended does NOT unpublish it from Zonaprop. The listing remains active on Zonaprop with those statuses. If you want to take the listing down, unpublish it manually from the property's publication panel.

Start publishing

From the Publish screen, in the Connections section, find the Zonaprop card and turn on the publish toggle.

When you click publish, a window will appear to select among the plans available in your previously connected Zonaprop account.

Select the plan and click "SET PLAN & PUBLISH".

A preparation process will start that may take a few seconds. Wait for the loading screen to finish.

Finally you will see a message confirming your publication, the plan type and other data obtained directly from Zonaprop.

Status update

Every time you access the Publication screen, Mapaprop checks the listing's status against Zonaprop and aligns its publication status and plan in both directions:

  • If it is unpublished on Zonaprop, it will be unpublished on Mapaprop
  • If it is published on Zonaprop but Mapaprop showed it as not published, it will be marked as published
  • If the plan of the listing on Zonaprop differs from what is shown in Mapaprop, it will be corrected to match Zonaprop's actual plan
  • Information such as visits is also updated

This synchronization only covers the publication status and the plan, and only for properties originally loaded from Mapaprop (a listing created directly on Zonaprop is not synchronized). Mapaprop does not import the content of the listing (title, price, description) from Zonaprop: you control the content, and the next edit you make in Mapaprop overwrites the listing on Zonaprop. That's why it's not advisable to edit listings directly on Zonaprop: those changes are lost with the next edit from Mapaprop.

Updating published properties

If your property is published on Zonaprop via API, the edit screens will notify you when you also need to update it on Zonaprop:

If something fails, simply go to the Publish screen, unpublish from Zonaprop, wait a few seconds and publish again.

Search published properties

The tags show the Premium portals where the property is published

You can also use the filter to see only properties published under the chosen option.

Published properties can be checked from the Search list via a tag that identifies where they are published (ZonapropAPI or Zonaprop).

Zone mapping

The first time you publish in a specific zone, you may need to associate the Mapaprop zone with the corresponding location in Zonaprop. This is done only once per zone:

  1. Select the province in Zonaprop
  2. Select the city
  3. Select the neighborhood
  4. Optionally, select a sub-neighborhood
  5. Click "ASSOCIATE ZONE"

Once associated, all properties in that same zone are published without needing to repeat this step.

What data is sent to Zonaprop

When publishing, Mapaprop automatically sends:

  • Title and description of the property
  • Property type (apartment, house, land, etc.)
  • Operation (sale, rental, temporary rental)
  • Price and expenses (HOA fees)
  • Location (address, coordinates, zone)
  • Physical features (surface area, rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.)
  • Amenities (pool, grill, security, parking, etc.)
  • Images and floor plans
  • Videos (YouTube or Matterport)
  • Real estate agency's contact details

Tip: Fill in as much of the property's data as possible in Mapaprop before publishing. The more information your listing has, the better it will rank on Zonaprop.

Troubleshooting

  • The zone is not mapped when publishing
The first time you publish in a zone, Mapaprop needs to associate it with the corresponding location in Zonaprop. Complete the zone mapping in the dialog that appears by selecting province, city and neighborhood.
  • I have no listings available
Your Zonaprop plan has a listing limit. Check your available plans in Connect with Zonaprop. If you need more listings, contact Zonaprop directly to expand your plan.
  • The property does not appear on Zonaprop (XML)
With Classic (XML) integration, publication can take between 1 and 2 hours to be reflected. If it still doesn't appear after that time, check that the property is published in Mapaprop and that the zone is correctly mapped.
  • Changes are not reflected on Zonaprop (XML)
Classic (XML) integration does not sync changes automatically. To update a property on Zonaprop, unpublish and republish it. Consider migrating to the API integration for automatic updates.
  • I edited something and it's not showing on Zonaprop right away (API)
With API integration, the sync is triggered immediately, but Zonaprop processes the changes (especially images) in the background. Wait a few seconds or a couple of minutes and refresh the listing page on Zonaprop. If after several minutes the changes still aren't reflected, report a ticket through Support.
  • I assigned a featured plan (or Zona Demand) but the listing is still simple
Some Zonaprop plans, particularly Zona Demand, are only enabled for specific zones or neighborhoods in your contract. If you assign that plan to a property located in a zone that is not enabled, Zonaprop rejects the change and the listing stays on its previous plan (for example, simple).
    To resolve it:
    • Check that the property's location is correct: edit it and confirm province, city and neighborhood, as well as the point on the map.
    • Publish again with the chosen plan.
    • If Zonaprop rejects it again, that plan is not available for that zone. Use a plan that does apply to the location (for example, Featured), or assign the Zona Demand to a property in an enabled zone.
  • Error when publishing
    Check:
    • That your Zonaprop account is connected (Connect with Zonaprop)
    • That you have listings available on your plan
    • That the property has the minimum required data completed (type, operation, price, location)
    • That the property's zone is mapped

If the problem persists, report it via Support > Tickets.

NOTE: Properties published from Mapaprop should not be edited, published or unpublished directly on Zonaprop.

Migrate to instant publication (API)

If you are currently connected with Classic (XML) integration, you can request migration to the API:
