Network Rules
From this page you can activate or deactivate the rules assigned to your network. Rules control which sections network members see and which actions they can perform.
Overview
The platform administrator assigns rules to your network from a centralized catalog. From this screen you control which ones are active and which aren't.
Important: Rules affect the network's members, not the administrator/manager. Activating a rule restricts something for the member (hides a section or blocks an action). Deactivating a rule lifts that restriction.
| Type | Badge | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Hide section | Blue | Hides a section of the interface from the member |
| Block action | Orange | Prevents the member from performing a specific action |
| Custom | Purple | Rule with a free key/value pair for custom logic |
Information for each rule
Each rule in the list shows:
- Type badge: Color based on the rule type (blue, orange, purple)
- Toggle: Switch to activate/deactivate the rule
- Status: "Active" or "Inactive" text
- Name: Descriptive name of the rule (from the catalog or auto-generated)
- Description: Explanation of what the rule does (if defined in the catalog)
- Technical key: Unique identifier of the rule in monospace format
How to activate or deactivate a rule
- Find the rule in the list
- Use the toggle (switch) to the right of the type badge
- The change applies immediately
- A confirmation message appears (green = success, red = error)
Tip: If the toggle fails, the rule automatically reverts to its previous state. If the problem persists, submit a Support ticket.
If no rules appear in the list, it means the platform administrator hasn't assigned rules to your network from the centralized catalog yet.
