Connected to Argenprop but cannot publish

Your Argenprop account shows as connected in Mapaprop, but when you publish a property you get a message like "your user does not have permissions to perform the requested action" (Argenprop identifies this internally as error AUT001).

Why this happens

The connection was set up incorrectly. The credentials Argenprop gives you for integration (a user like xxx@api.com, a password, and your IdAnunciante) are special credentials, different from the ones you use to log in to the portal. You should not use your regular Argenprop credentials.

Argenprop sends you those integration credentials by email. The user you normally use to log in to the portal (your personal email or your agency's) does not have the role to publish through integration: that is why Argenprop confirms your identity and the card says "connected", but rejects every attempt to publish. The message is literal: it is your user that does not have permissions.

How to fix it

  1. Find the email Argenprop sent you with your integration credentials: a user in the format xxx@api.com, a password, and your IdAnunciante.
  2. In Mapaprop, go to Settings > Argenprop and disconnect the account.
  3. Reconnect, this time with the xxx@api.com user, its password, and the IdAnunciante from Argenprop's email — not your regular portal email and password.
  4. Go back to the property and press Publish on the Argenprop card.

How to tell this error apart from a connection error

Mapaprop shows a different message depending on the case:

  • "your user does not have permissions to perform the requested action" (AUT001) → this is this case: you connected with the wrong credentials. Reconnect with the integration credentials Argenprop sent you.
  • "Your connection with Argenprop expired. Reconnect your account" → here you should also reconnect from Settings > Argenprop, with the same integration credentials.
  • "You do not have enough subscription/points" → this is a subscription issue: renew your points with Argenprop. See Points and subscription.
