Before building your website we send you design samples: images of how your home page is going to look, put together with your logo, your colors, and your material. Each file includes the desktop view and the mobile view.
The samples are 99% faithful to the final site. What you see is what you are going to get, except for the content details we explain below.
Why there are several
We send you proposals that differ from one another, not variants of the same idea. They change the composition, the style, and the shape of the property search box. The intention is that you do not choose between "this yes or this no", but between possible paths for your brand.
You choose one as a starting point. You can also ask us to combine parts of one with parts of another: for example, the header of the first one with the search box of the second one.
What is your real design
- The logo, the colors, and the typefaces
- The composition of the page: where each thing goes and how it looks
- The property search box and its behavior
- The header, the menu, and the footer
- The phone numbers, addresses, and email that appear: they are taken from your Mapaprop account
If the contact details you see in the sample are not correct, do not ask us for them by email: change them yourself in Menu > My real estate agency > My Company. The site reads them from there, always up to date.
What is example content
So that the sample looks like a real site, we fill it out with example content. This is not part of the design and is going to be replaced by yours:
- The featured properties that appear are fictitious. You enter yours from your account, whenever you want and as many times as you want. See Featured properties.
- The menu sections (for example "About us", "Services", "Appraisals") are examples to illustrate how the menu looks. You create the ones you need from Manage pages or sections.
- Some images and phrases may have been chosen by us for you, if you did not send them. You can keep them or replace them.
About the main banner
In the sample you see a single image in the banner, but the banner is animated. It can be built in two ways:
Option A — Three images that alternate. Each slide can have its own image and its own phrase.
Option B — A fixed background image with three phrases or graphics that pass over it in an animated way.
If you want a particular one, let us know when you reply. If not, we choose the one that works best with your material.
The banner images
Send images of at least 2000 pixels wide, in landscape (horizontal) format. Keep in mind that the banner has a limited height, so your image may be cropped to fit the design.
If we do not receive images, we choose for you. Afterwards you can request the change.
