My MercadoLibre listing stayed "In process" and doesn't activate

When you publish a property on MercadoLibre from Mapaprop, the listing can stay for several minutes — or even hours — in "In process" status before switching to Active. MercadoLibre tells you why it hasn't activated yet through one or more sub-statuses.

Possible sub-statuses

1. Pictures downloading (`picture_download_pending`)

MercadoLibre tries to download the listing's photos from Mapaprop's server. If for some reason it can't download them, the listing stays waiting.

What to do:

Wait a few minutes and click Update Status on the MercadoLibre card of the publication panel.
If more than 1 hour passes and it's still the same, report a problem to support indicating your property's code.

2. Waiting for pack quota (`pack_quota_pending`)

The plan you chose (Silver, Gold, Gold Premium) has a limited quota of simultaneous listings. If you've already used all the listings your plan allows, new listings stay waiting for quota to free up.

What to do (any of these options solve it):

Buy more pack on MercadoLibre: log into your ML account and purchase an additional pack.
Switch to a higher plan with more quota (for example, from Silver to Gold).
Finish old listings to free up quota from your current pack.
Republish with the Free plan if you don't want to pay more.

⚠️ If your listing stays too long in this status without switching to Active, MercadoLibre eventually closes it on its own and it shows as Finished. That usually indicates the plan is saturated.

How do I see my listing's sub-status?

On the MercadoLibre card of the publication panel, below the "In process" status, Mapaprop shows you the sub-status (for example "Pictures downloading" or "Waiting for pack assignment").

How long is it normal to wait?

With quota available and healthy photos: seconds to a few minutes.
With picture_download_pending: it usually resolves on its own in 5-15 minutes.
With pack_quota_pending: it depends on when quota frees up or when you buy more pack. It can be hours or days.

My listing has been "In process" or "In review" for a long time and doesn't move

If a listing has been stuck for a long time in "In process" or "In review", it's likely that MercadoLibre has already finished it on its own (MercadoLibre closes listings that stay too long without activating). To recover it:

Go into the property
Open the MercadoLibre panel
Click "Update Status"

This syncs the real status with MercadoLibre. If the listing was finished or deleted, the page will show you the Publish button to upload it again (the saved configuration is reused, you don't need to fill everything in again). If your plan has listings available, the listing goes back up.
