Rentals usually generate far more inquiries than sales, and it is not always convenient for the same person to handle them. This is solved with Branches, with no need to open another account.

The idea: the branch defines where inquiries go

Every property is assigned to a branch, and it is the branch that defines the contact details that get published and where the alert is sent:

  • Portals and your website publish the phone number and email of that property's branch, not the account's.
  • The lead's email alert goes to that branch's mailbox, with a copy to the My Company email.

So separating rentals from sales does not require any special feature: having one branch per group is enough.

How to do it

  1. Go to My agency > Branches and create a new branch (for example Rentals), with its own phone number, its WhatsApp and its email.
  2. Edit the properties you already have in that group and assign them the new branch. This step is required: the change is not retroactive, properties already loaded stay in the branch they had.
  3. From then on, when you load a property pick the branch it belongs to.

It is better to create the new branch for the smaller group and move only those properties. If you have 80 sales and 20 rentals, creating "Rentals" means editing 20 properties instead of 80.

What does not change

  • The administrator's Inbox / Leads stays unified: you see every inquiry in one place, from both branches.
  • My Company keeps receiving a copy of the alerts. If you do not want it, check Notification settings.

The branch's WhatsApp / Mobile field is available from the Plus plan onwards.

If you also want each person to manage only their own

Separating by branch changes the contact details and the alerts, but it does not restrict access. If you need each person in charge to see and edit only their properties and their contacts, the way to go is users: a salesperson assigned to each branch, or an agent with their own branch (available from the Pro+ plan). See Users, Agents, Roles and Branches.
