Print Record

Overview

The Print Record generates a professional property brochure, ready to download as PDF or print. It lets you choose between multiple formats (A4, A5, with map) and customize the main image before generating it.

You can access it from the Print button in the property detail's top bar, or from the three-dot menu in the listing.

Available formats

From the selector in the top bar you can choose between 13 pre-built formats, grouped by category (Paper, Social Media, Reports). Formats carry a plan tag next to the name: Plus (needs Plus or higher) or Pro+ (needs Pro or Business — Plus is not enough).

Available from the per-property detail modal in /stats/leads and /stats/visits. Three are free and one requires Pro+.

The selected format is preserved in the URL (?format=a4-vertical), so you can share the direct link with a colleague with the format pre-configured.

About Plus formats: if your current plan doesn't include a premium format, selecting it will show a notice with information about the Mapaprop Plus Plan. The selection won't be applied and the preview will stay on the previous format.

Change main image

By default, the record uses the property's main image (the one marked as "main"). You can change it from the top bar:

• Left / right arrows to navigate between available images
• "3 / 12" indicator shows which one is selected
• Keyboard shortcuts ← / → also work
• Thumbnail strip below: click any thumbnail to select it

The change only affects the print preview — it does not modify the property's main image in the system.

Share with branch identity (MLS Networks)

If your office belongs to a Business Manager network with the "Share with branch identity" option enabled, and you're printing the record of a property belonging to another agency in the network, a toggle will appear:

"Print with my branch identity"

When enabled:

• The header shows your data (your branch's logo, name, contact) instead of the property owner's
• The QR code leads to a portal page where the client sees your contact details, not the owner's

This is useful when working with MLS network properties and you want contact to come back to you, not to the original broker.

Requirements:

• Having a branch assigned to your profile
• The property must belong to another customer (not your branch)
• The shared network must have allowBranchShare enabled

Download PNG for social media

When you select an Instagram Square or Instagram Story format, a green "Download PNG" button appears in the top bar next to the Print button.

When clicked:

1. A PNG file is generated with the exact official dimensions Instagram requires (1080×1080 for Square, 1080×1920 for Story)
2. The download is saved automatically to your Downloads folder with the name propiedad-{code}-{format}.png
3. The file is ready to upload directly to Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook or any social network

Important: PNG download is a Plus feature. If your current plan doesn't include it, clicking will show a notice with information about the Mapaprop Plus Plan.

What's included in each format

A4 Portrait and A4 Landscape (full versions)

• Header: agency logo + agent photo + contact details + QR code
• Large main image with badges (property type, operation, code)
• Prominent price (includes fees if loaded)
• Title and location
• 4 auto-distributed detail blocks:
  • Features: rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, guest bathrooms, dependencies, garage
  • Structural: covered/total surface, orientation, location, balcony, floors
  • Services: heating, hot water, air conditioning
  • General Information: address, cross streets, condition, age, terms
• Amenities as green chips
• Description truncated to 200 characters
• Thumbnails (up to 4 additional images)
• Footer with "Powered by Mapaprop" + short URL

A4 Landscape with Map

Everything from A4 Landscape plus a static Google Maps map with a green Mapaprop pin at the property's coordinates. The map requires the property to have latitude/longitude loaded (mapLatitude and mapLongitude fields).

A5 Portrait and A5 Landscape (compact versions)

Essential subset — designed for quick distribution or window displays:

• Compact header (no agent photo, no detailed contact info)
• Main image
• Type + operation + code badges
• Price
• Title and location
• One line of details (e.g.: "6 rooms · 3 bed · 2 bath · 128 m² cov · 2 parking spaces · 16 years")
• Top 8 amenities as chips
• Reduced description (A5 Portrait only)
• Footer

Not included: alternative prices, detailed fees, separate Services/Structural blocks, thumbnails.

Minimalist A4

Editorial style inspired by architecture magazines (Kinfolk, The Modern House):

• Reduced header, lots of whitespace
• Main photo with side margin (not full-bleed)
• Price in large Light typography — to convey exclusivity
• Thin green Mapaprop separator line
• Key data condensed into one line
• "Contact the agent" as a call to action

Aimed at premium properties with good photography. Omits extensive description, amenities and thumbnails to keep the editorial feel.

Poster A4

Full-bleed photo with maximum visual impact:

• Main image bleeding across the top 3/4 of the sheet
• Translucent bottom strip (78% black) with title and price over the image, in white
• White bottom block with agent data, key features (3-4 amenities), brief description (700 chars), QR code
• No separate Structural/Services blocks

For window displays or properties with professional photography.

Instagram Square and Instagram Story

Digital formats optimized for social media (Plus Plan):

Instagram Square (1080 × 1080 px):

• Photo occupying the top 65% with type + operation + code badges
• White bottom block with price, title, location, key data
• Compact footer with agent data and QR code

Instagram Story (1080 × 1920 px / 9:16):

• Header on top with logo, agent data and QR code
• Large main photo (240 mm equivalent)
• Bottom block with price, title, location, key data, top amenities, 3 thumbnails

Both are ready to download as PNG with official Instagram dimensions (see "Download PNG for social media" section).

Download PDF or print

There are two buttons in the top bar, each for a different case.

Download PDF (recommended)

This is the most reliable way to get the file. It generates the PDF directly, with the exact size of the chosen format (A4 portrait, landscape, A5, etc.), without going through the browser dialog or depending on your settings.

1. Click Download PDF
2. The file is saved to your Downloads folder as propiedad-{code}-{format}.pdf
3. It comes out exact, with no cropping or margin issues — the on-screen preview is exactly what you'll get

Works for all paper formats (A4, A5, landscape, minimalist, poster) and the reports. Doesn't require the Plus plan: it's the replacement for printing when what you want is the PDF.

Print (browser dialog)

Opens the browser's native print dialog with full freedom: you can choose paper size (A4, Letter…), orientation (portrait or landscape), scale and physical printer. Designed for when you want to send it to a printer with your own preferences.

1. Click Print
2. Choose your printer, or "Save as PDF" as the destination
3. Adjust sheet, orientation and scale as needed

If printing the record comes out on 2 pages

This can only happen with the Print button (never with Download PDF, because the size is exact). If it comes out on 2 sheets:

1. Check that margins are set to "None"
2. Check that the scale is at 100% (not 110% or 105%)
3. If your browser has "Headers and footers" enabled, turn it off

Header data

The header automatically shows the data of the agent (branch) who loaded the property:

• Agency logo (customer's logo)
• Agent's profile photo (if the branch has a photo loaded — optional)
• Trade name + branch name (e.g.: "My Agency · Downtown Branch")
• Branch address with area
• Contact phone and email

If the branch doesn't have a profile photo loaded, it simply doesn't appear. To upload a photo: go to Settings → Branches → Edit → Profile photo.

QR Code

The QR code is generated automatically and takes the client to the property's public record. The QR's URL follows these priorities:

1. Own external URL (if loaded in the property's "External web URL" field)
2. Own website (if you have an active Mapaprop website)
3. Mapaprop's public portal or your associated brand's

When "Print with my branch identity" mode is enabled, the QR code always leads to the brand's portal with an additional parameter to show your contact details in the sidebar.

Special cases

Property with no images

The record shows a gray placeholder with the text "No image available". We suggest loading at least one photo before printing — records with a photo have much more impact.

Property with no coordinates (map format)

The A4 Landscape with Map format requires mapLatitude and mapLongitude to be loaded. If the property has no coordinates, the map space shows "No location available". To fix it: go to the Map tab of the property detail and position the marker.

Incomplete property

The detail blocks only show fields that have a value. If the property doesn't have, for example, "Heating" loaded, the Services block won't show that line. For richer records, fill in as many fields as possible when editing the property.

Frequently asked questions

Can I customize the colors or add my brand? The record uses Mapaprop's visual identity (green + Raleway typography) and shows your agency's logo as the main element. Advanced color customization isn't available in this version.

Can I choose which blocks to show or hide? In this version each format has a fixed layout. Blocks are hidden automatically if they have no data. Show/hide toggles are on the roadmap.

Does the record update if I edit the property afterward? Yes. Every time you open the print record, the property's current data is loaded. If you printed a PDF before and then edited the property, the PDF will keep the old data — you must regenerate it.

Can I download the file directly without going through the print dialog? Yes, in all formats:

• Paper records and reports (A4, A5, Landscape, Minimalist, Poster): use the "Download PDF" button — generates the PDF with the exact size of the format, no dialog and no cropping. Doesn't require the Plus plan.
• Instagram records (Square / Story): use the "Download PNG" button — downloads with Instagram's exact dimensions. Plus feature.

The Print button remains for when you prefer the browser dialog (choosing sheet, orientation, scale or physical printer).

Does the record work in languages other than Spanish? For now all the system's texts (labels like "Features", "Amenities", "Powered by Mapaprop") are in Spanish. The property's own content respects what you loaded.

• Plus plan or higher: A4 Landscape with Map format, Instagram records (Square and Story), PNG download
• Pro+ plan or higher: Complete Report for Client format (the other three reports are free)
