Please note that your website information is "session cached" (stored in your browser's memory) to improve response speed. This means that if you open your website and want to work on it by changing information in Mapaprop, you will not see the changes instantly on your open website, even if you press F5 or refresh the screen: you must close the browser completely and reopen it to see the changes

Your website is independent of Mapaprop's online status and is hosted on a specific server for all our clients. Your website is only visible under your company's own internet domain (URL).

Database

Your website reads the database that you write through your Mapaprop account. Any changes you make will be reflected on your website. The system is not instantaneous, as change information is processed and then written to the database, so when you, for example, modify a property, the change may take a while to be reflected. What you should trust is that the change will occur, since the database is unique (for Mapaprop and for your website).

Data caching

Your website is designed to "cache information in the browser session" (store the site in memory), so if you make changes in Mapaprop and don't see the changes you make, you must close all your browser windows and reopen it.

No FTP/sFTP Service

The Mapaprop website system does not have FTP/sFTP service, as there is no option to manage the server directly. If you want to attach files to your website, see How to insert files

Sitemaps and connection with Google and Bing

Your site is connected to the most important search engines. This connection allows constant updates of the amount of information and content your website has. So, if for example you have 30 published properties, Google, Yahoo, and Bing will understand that your website has at least 33 pages: the 30 properties, the home page, the contact page, and the results listing. Therefore, it is important that you load as many properties as possible to increase your exposure on search engines.

SEO keywords and description

Every word that appears on your website is indexed by search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) as existing content under your URL. The properties you enter automatically generate SEO titles, descriptions, and keywords. This allows your website to appear in Google, Bing, and Yahoo results when someone searches through them, typing keywords related to your property, such as "house for sale haedo moron" or "house for sale haedo 2 bedrooms".

Multiple websites from a single account

Mapaprop allows you to manage Multiple websites from a single account. There is no limit to this option. If you need two, three, five websites, each with independent content, you can manage them all from your same account.

Property search engines

  • The property search engines on any website display the property types and zones that you enter in your account's Properties database. The search engine does not display zones or property types that you don't have in your inventory. Therefore, if you want a particular zone to appear, you must include that zone in a property using the Edit property function. The same applies to a particular property type, for example (house, hotel, farm, etc.)

Sections (pages) and navigation structure

The property search engine, search listings, property listings, sections, and all visible content are within your website (under your own domain e.g., "www.yourrealestate.com.ar/propiedad/..."). Therefore, each property constitutes a page within your website. Google, Yahoo, and Bing will understand it this way.
